Ring provide portable power

The explosion in portable electronics such as Blackberrys, mobile phones and lap tops has changed they way we work.
More of us now work away from the office, using cars as an office on wheels. Power adaptors are available for keeping such gadgets charged on the move. However, buying special adaptors for all your electrical equipment is an expensive option.
The best option for keeping gadgets powered while on the move is an inverter. Simply plug an inverter into a cigarette lighter socket and you have 240V AC electricity supply for charging in-car.

UFI Filters OE Supply to Volkswagen

Volkswagen, known worldwide for the high quality and reliability of its vehicles, has joined the growing list of automobile manufacturers choosing UFI Filters as OE.
With the complex technology of modern vehicles, an advanced filtering system is essential and the filtering systems, which are installed in the new Polo, expand the range of Volkswagen automobiles fitting UFI as OE and are adaptable for the new generation of vehicles.
UFI manufactures a complete air filter for the 1.6 TDI CR engine on the new Polo. The filters offer high filtering efficiency, stopping even the smallest particles, and a high life span, due to the presence of a pre-filter on the cartridge that increases the filters absorption capacity. The centrifugal effect created also prevents water from entering the filter and separates a greater amount of dust.
The cartridge contains no metal elements (making it environmentally friendly) and is easy to install and maintain. In fact, the filtering elements are equipped with a simple fasten/release system that allow easy servicing and replacement and a washer inserted on the fastening section guarantees a perfect filter seal.
The same vehicle is equipped with an extremely compact and robust, UFI diesel fuel filter, which uses a folded technological paper cartridge onto which a synthetic fibre layer is applied. This combination offers a very high filtering capacity (94% of 3-5 microns pollutant particles) with an average life of 60,000 km, before having to be replaced.

Maypole launch new battery chargers

This Winter, Maypole, has re-launched its Metal Cased Battery Charger range, with one brand new charger added and two new Starter Chargers. In superb retail packaging the entire range is extremely good quality and very competitively priced.
Maypole’s Daniel Walton says, “ We were keen to ensure we had the best range of battery chargers this winter and we believe we’ve achieved it, with a concise range, which offers everything from a 4 amp plastic charger to a 700 amp Starter Charger. In our Metal Cased Chargers our brand new 30 amp charger is out largest yet and will charge either 12 volt or 24 volt and through its built in boost function can charge as fast or slow as required”.
