Ring provide portable power
The explosion in portable electronics such as Blackberrys, mobile phones and lap tops has changed they way we work.
More of us now work away from the office, using cars as an office on wheels. Power adaptors are available for keeping such gadgets charged on the move. However, buying special adaptors for all your electrical equipment is an expensive option.
The best option for keeping gadgets powered while on the move is an inverter. Simply plug an inverter into a cigarette lighter socket and you have 240V AC electricity supply for charging in-car.
New from Ring comes the MP120 compact inverter. Ring Automotive has combined its award winning inverter technology in an ultra slim design that provides 120w power output.
The compact design along with a coiled DC cable allows the inverter to be positioned in a variety of places that are convenient and discreet. To securely fix in position the MP:120 is supplied with hook and eye tape.
The MP120 also comes with a USB charging point to recharge mobile phones and MP3 players while at the same as using the mains power.
Another clever design feature is a spring tension switch on the DC plug to ensure a secure connection for different sized cigarette lighter sockets. The unit is manufactured from scratchproof, shock-resistant ABS to match quality car interiors.
For safety the inverter incorporates overload circuit protection to protect the vehicle, the powered appliance and of course the consumer.
Product Manager David Smith says “The MP120 takes inverter technology to another level. Combining a sleek compact design with a powerful out put makes the MP120 an ideal match for the top-range gadgets being charged.”
MP120 (Part Number RINV120 ) has a Suggested Retail Price of £34.99. It’s available now and makes a great Christmas gift.
